Best Friends for Never starts with Katie wanting to be the sidekick of the Mousetress, but training isn’t going as well as she thought it would. However, Katie is determined to sort it all out one way or another. Luckily for her, she has over 200 cats to help her do that! Will Katie be able to fix her friendships, become the sidekick she wants to be, and clear the Mousetress’s name?

THOUGHTS: This was a great sequel to Katie and the Catsitter! The illustrations throughout the book are colorful, and keeping an eye on the cats is always entertaining! Highly recommended for upper elementary and middle school students.
